Chairman's Message
Welcome, and thank you for visiting the website of the Center for U.S.–Korea Politics and Economy (CUKPE).
Our Center was founded to promote research, dialogue, and policy solutions on U.S.–Korea relations, peace on the Korean Peninsula, and the political economy of Northeast Asia. Through forums, academies, seminars, and policy reports, we aim to contribute not only to academic scholarships but also to meaningful conversations that can shape a better future.
Based in Los Angeles—the heart of the largest Korean community outside Korea—we strive to connect the networks of both the United States and Korea to produce timely, practical, and impactful insights. We also seek to share our knowledge broadly with the public, providing a space for learning and engagement.
CUKPE is non-partisan, independent, and open. We are committed to advancing research and education without bias, guided by the values of inclusivity and dialogue. Your interest and participation will be the driving force behind our work.
Thank you again for your support.
Sincerely,
Hansin “Scott” Kim
Chairman, CUKPE
